Power Off the Device
Ensure your Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G is completely powered off. Hold the power button and select 'Power Off' on the screen to shut down the device safely.
Remove the Back Cover
Use an iOpener or heat gun to gently heat the edges of the back cover to soften the adhesive. Carefully use a suction cup to lift the back cover, then insert a plastic opening tool to separate it from the device.
Disconnect the Battery
Using a Phillips #00 screwdriver, remove the screws securing the battery connector cover. Carefully lift the cover and use a spudger to disconnect the battery from the motherboard.
Remove the Old Screen
Heat the edges of the screen with an iOpener or heat gun. Use a suction cup to create a gap and insert a plastic opening tool to carefully pry the screen away from the phone frame. Be gentle to avoid damaging internal components.
Install the New Screen
Carefully align the new screen with the frame of the phone. Use adhesive strips to secure the new screen in place. Ensure it is properly aligned to avoid any gaps.
Reconnect the Battery
Reconnect the battery by reversing the disconnection process. Use the spudger to reattach the battery connector to the motherboard and secure it with the connector cover and screws.
Reattach the Back Cover
Apply new adhesive strips to the edges of the back cover. Firmly press the cover back onto the phone frame until it is securely in place.
Power On and Test
Power on your Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G to ensure the new screen is functioning correctly. Test the touch functionality and display clarity to confirm a successful repair.
