Use a plastic opening tool to gently pry around the edges of the back cover. Start at one corner and work your way around the device until the back cover pops off. Be careful not to apply too much force to avoid damaging the clips.

Locate the battery connector on the motherboard. Use a spudger to carefully disconnect the battery by lifting the connector straight up. This step is crucial to avoid any electrical damage during the repair.

Use a heat gun or hair dryer to gently heat the edges of the screen to soften the adhesive. Apply heat for about 1-2 minutes. Use a suction cup to lift the screen slightly and insert a plastic opening tool to detach the adhesive. Carefully work around the edges until the screen is free. Be cautious of the display cable when removing the screen.

Once the screen is loose, carefully lift it to access the display cable. Use tweezers to gently release the cable connector from the motherboard. Remove the old screen completely.

Align the new screen with the device and connect the display cable to the motherboard. Ensure the connection is secure and properly seated.

Apply new adhesive strips around the edges of the frame. Carefully position the new screen onto the device and press down gently to ensure the adhesive sticks properly. Make sure the screen is aligned correctly with the frame.

Reattach the battery connector to the motherboard by pressing it down until it clicks into place. Ensure a secure connection.

Align the back cover with the device and press down around the edges until it snaps back into place. Ensure that all clips are engaged and the cover is flush with the device.

Hold the power button until the device powers on. Test the new screen to ensure it is functioning correctly. Check for touch responsiveness and display clarity.
