Follow these 8 steps to complete your repair
Power Off the Device
Ensure the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 Plus 11 is completely powered off. Press and hold the power button and select 'Power Off' from the options. Wait for the device to shut down fully.
Remove the Back Cover
Use a heat gun or hair dryer to gently heat the edges of the back cover to soften the adhesive. Apply the suction handle to the back cover and carefully use a plastic opening tool to lift and detach the cover, working around the edges to release the clips. Be gentle to avoid cracking the cover.
Disconnect the Battery
Using a Phillips #00 screwdriver, remove the screws securing the battery connector shield. Carefully lift the shield using a spudger. With the shield removed, use a spudger to gently disconnect the battery connector from the motherboard.
Remove the Old Battery
Using a spudger, gently pry up the old battery from the adhesive securing it to the case. If necessary, use the heat gun again to soften the adhesive. Be cautious not to bend or puncture the battery.
Install the New Battery
Place the new battery into the battery compartment, aligning it properly. Use new adhesive strips or double-sided adhesive tape to secure the battery in place. Reconnect the battery connector to the motherboard.
Reattach the Battery Connector Shield
Replace the battery connector shield and secure it with the screws removed earlier. Ensure the shield is properly aligned before tightening the screws.
Reattach the Back Cover
Align the back cover with the tablet and press down firmly around the edges to re-engage the clips. Make sure the cover is securely attached and no gaps remain.
Power On and Test
Turn on the device by pressing the power button. Verify that the new battery is functioning correctly by checking for charging capability and ensuring the device powers up without issues.
